Join us for the 39th Annual Pepsi Challenge Cup 50K Freestyle & Classic, Great River Energy Rush 25K Freestyle & Classic & Giants Ridge 8K Nordic Ski Races on March 1, 2025 at Giants Ridge Biwabik Minnesota. Giants Ridge has 60 kilometers of impeccably groomed, world class Nordic trails on which World Cup, Olympic Trials, National Collegiate Finals, U. S. National Championships and High School championships take place. Our family-oriented events are designed to accommodate skiers of all abilities. The Pepsi Challenge Cup Race is part of the American Ski Marathon Series and a Birkie Qualifier. Visit us on Minnesota's Iron Range for a fun-filled, late winter cross country ski extravaganza!

Trail Conditions at Giants Ridge 2/21/2025
2/21/25 Friday evening on the on the 1.2K Silver Trail. Superb Perfection!
2/19/25 Trails at Giants Ridge were covered with a very cold, fine-grained, dense snow yesterday afternoon making for slow powder skiing. Snow continued through the early evening. Giants Ridge snow report states that all trails were groomed this morning with the Pisten Bulley. Should be back to perfect again!
A view from the backcountry portion of the Pepsi Challenge 50K/Great River Energy 25K Biwabik Spur trail at Sunset 2/16/25. After another 2" of snow Saturday morning, the 25k racecourse is now completely groomed with the Pisten Bulley on a 8+" base. We are ready for March 1st!!!
